Scarf - is another my fetish. I can be called a Scarf-Freak, though I do not possess any of these striped scarves. Three scarves that I have are Scottish: Blue/brown, Green/orange and simple light Orange.
Use
I like scarves because they keep my neck warm and they can hide my chin whenever I want it. And yes, I think scarves are cool and soft.

Scottish
Scotland is famous for their unique style. So, Scottish scarves are all striped along and across with different colors. I find them very likable to have in one's collection for their warmth and softness.
Striped
Emo-style (as well as some gothic and loli) requires these scarves. What I like in them is not their usefulness but beauty. Black with bright green/red/orange/pink/another color looks really great.
Big Shawl
Quite a thing. It looks good on young women full of grace and femininity.
