Last Bell

Last Bell happened at the end of the last year of school (that is why it is called "Last Bell" - it is like the last bell from the last lesson).
Last Bell consists of a few parts:
1. Rehearsal
2. Assembly on the second floor
3. Concert
4. After concert with class
5. After after concert with some classmates

Rehearsal

We spent a lot of time to get prepared for the concert. Our physics teacher helped us a lot.
Before rehearsals began we wrote the whole concert plot and then it was improved in process. My friend and I tried to write biology part but we failed and someone else did it.
Then we had a lot of rehearsals during lessons and we did not have lessons at all the week before the concert.
We had a lot of fun at these rehearsals though the thought that we were wasting our time never went out of my head.

Assembly on the second floor

This is the thing when pupils of the 3rd (or 2nd) form reads some poems for every student - something about his personality and dreams and give ribbons and bells to high schoolers. And then high schoolers give them presents (we gave toys representing characters from Smeshariki cartoons).
I was very nervous. My name should have been among the first ones but they missed me for some reason and I went even after Chekalkin Agniy (it is at the end of Russian alphabet). I was trembling when one boy read his poem about me (well, actually Mrs. Stavtseva wrote it for me). It said that I was thoughtful and was good at sciences and languages. Huh…

Concert

Concert began with teacher songs and congratulations. Marina Albertovna said a few words and she was nervous. Mrs. Stavtseva and Olga Vladimirovna cried while singing the original song that they wrote (I suppose so) for us. Some of our girls cried as well.
Then there was our part when we gave our thanks to the teachers. It was fun for us to be on the scene and all. I played a French person with one phrase - "O-la-la! Quel foret est-il?" And this was a brand new phrase because on the rehearsals I always said "Ce qui ceci pour la foret" - which did not mean anything at all in French. Katya Kravchenko, Nastya Volkova, Olya Udalova and me were playing in this scene - geography subject.
Well, the funniest scenes (for us) were IT and German - because they were weird and common-place.
And we were behind the scene so we did not watch everything - we prepaired for each part of the concert.
Though, there was a biology room opened for us and there was a table and some drinks and things to eat. There were two bottles of Martini, by the way. To get courage, huh. But I did not drink.

Well, After concert my friend stayed to eat some cake and I went home with mom and grandma (my dad went home before the concert was over). I told Mary that I'll come back but she did not wait for me and went home after she ate the cake. Damn, it was sad to be in school alone. Like there are nobody in the whole world waiting for you - I told my parents that I'm not going to come back till 8 p.m.

Before that I met Anisimova Olga Nikolayevna, my old Russian and Literature teacher who had to leave the school because of her illness. And she took my hand and I felt like she did not want to let me go. She asked me how were my things and I told her everything was alright. And that is all. I mean, I felt awkward and I got my hand from hers and went away. That always happen when I see her since the time she left. I do not know why - she did a lot for me. A lot.

After concert with class

we went in the bus around the city and took lots of photos at the Red square and Vorobiyevi Mountains. That was fun as well. I took 51 photos and 2 videos.

After concert with some classmates

we went to the cinema and saw Indiana Jones the 4th movie. And I got carried away and since that time I liked the boy from the "B" class who is a real freak. I like freaks.

So this all is over now and time passed away. I hope. I will not forget this because I had a good time of my youth.
