Games - is a way of spending time.
I played in some games in my life. I am not a gamer, really.
First games
Among the first games on our 286 computer I remember Gobliins (I played this game again in 2007), the Incredible Machine (I really liked it), Lines (see further), and some sort of painter where I could not really paint, but pick things like leaves or machines and put them on the picture (we printed some of my "works" but I do not remember where they are now). One of the most important game from this time is SimCity. Yes, it was much better than today's simcity, Though, those can be my childhood impressions. And my brother liked UFO - I did not. And I still do not know why he likes it.
Teen/childhood time games
At first I played on my brother's computer games like Age of Empires II, then Cossaks.
When we got a newer computer (that was like in 2000, some years after I went to school) I was into such games as Unreal Tournament and StarCraft. I still like them. We have a computer for these games now. It is in parents' room. So, I grew up on these games. We played with brother a lot.
Linux games
Of course, I do not have Windows games on Linux. Though, I have others.
Konquest - when I win it gives me "The mighty Xiena conquered the Galaxy!" and it gives me a good feeling. Mua-ha-ha, I am the mighty emperor of the Galaxy!!! Mua-ha-ha!!!
Battle of Westnoth (if I am not mistaken) sucks. I did not like it but I completed all the missions.
Ktron - I almost never win. Like in KWin4 (yup, KDE games).
School games
We had IT lessons at school. After we did some tasks our teacher let us play games on computers. I often played Mahjong (well, it had another name). There also were Icy tower and (?). And when we had older computer we all played Bomber.
Lines
My mom is crazy about this game. She often comes into my room and plays lines.
I find it nice to put everything in order. But I play Very Easy level - and I play it forever, thinking about something. I understand my mom.
Tetris
This is the game I am crazy about. Not really, but I play it a lot. The highest level I got was 15th. I began to play tetris during the history exam preparation in the 11th form in school.
Mysterious game
I remember a game where some strange orange creatures walked on the map and were saying "We are the champions". I do not remember what this game is called. If you know it, tell me, please. I want it so badly…
Board games
I played them in my friend's place. Games were like Monopoly (Cool game) and some others. One game had characters of two types - werewolves and hunters.
Card games
I used to play card games when I was younger. I remember we played card games all together with mom, dad and bro on the big wooden board. I never played serious card games, never played on money.
Sega games
We had Sonic - my brother would play it, and I would sit near him and watch. I really enjoyed watching him play or do something on the computer. I still like it, though he does not seem to like it too.
Why I did not become a gamer
I do not use Windows and Microsoft programs. In exchange I became an otaku and we do not have Japanese games here. Moreover, I am not that good in games as you could see (in tetris for example), so I preferred watching rather than playing.
I like playing games. Really.
Starcraft II
I save up money for the new computer, so I will be able to play new Starcraft.
