English

English is not my mother tongue. Though, now I feel like it is my near-native language as I think in it sometimes not even realizing that it is English.
First few phrases I learned in English were "Stop talking" and "Don't touch this" - I learned them when I was 4 years old and lived in Liverpool (as my mom and dad told me).
My dad says I'm really good in English grammar (though, it is not true) and he sometimes asks me to give him advice on grammar. I always thought that grammar was my weak point in English.
I suppose I am quite good in understanding. I can watch films and read in English freely.

English at school

I learned English at school. In first years I was very-very bad in English and I was making like 23 mistakes in a dictation. And I had frequent headaches at English lessons so that my teacher wrote to my mom to take me to the doctor. It was funny.

My English teachers were:
Tatyana Evgeniyevna - who smoked and I did not like her. Then I realized that she could not teach high-schoolers and she only taught me from 2nd to 5th form.
Stavtseva Irina Valentinovna - was a teacher of my brother as well. Not an excellent English teacher. But a good teacher on the whole. She thought I was smart and I always did things that she asked to do, so I had good marks in English with her. And then I got into English and it was interesting for me. And in the 9th form I became an anime-fan and this helped me very much with my English.
